WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?The side effect we hear most often is temporary nausea. This can usually be avoided by patients setting alarms to eat every few hours. Less frequent side effects are fatigue and headaches.
HOW LONG DOES ONE VIAL of 100cc LAST?
At the 12.5 units dose it lasts 8 weeks
At the 25 units dose it lasts 4 weeks
At the 75 units dose it lasts 1.3 weeks
At the 100 units dose it lasts 1 week
The most common dosing we see for patients is 12.5 units the first week, and 25 units ongoing.
ARE THERE ANY DRUG INTERACTIONS?
You may not use any other prescription weight loss medications medications at the same time. Those include phentermine, phendimetaizine, and HCG.
WHAT IS NEEDED TO QUALIFY?
Female: Generally the initial body fat must be 30% or above. In the event a patient has a lower body fat, a BMI and other metrics will be requested before the telehealth visit to satisfy Florida statute 64B8-9.012
Male: Generally the initial body fat must be 25% or above. In the event a patient has a lower body fat, a BMI and other metrics will be requested before the telehealth visit to satisfy Florida statute 64B8-9.012
